Intenza Flat—Incline Bench

An adjustable bench is the most-used piece of equipment in any free-weight area, and the one most facilities buy wrong. The cheap ones develop wobble in the adjustment mechanism inside a year, the pads split at the seams, and the frame finish chips the first time a dumbbell touches it. The Intenza SBR-01 is built the other way: double-coated frame, aluminum end caps, and an adjustment system designed to still feel tight after a few thousand cycles.

Adjustment Range

  • 6 back pad positions from 0 to 85 degrees. Flat bench, every incline angle worth pressing at, and a near-vertical 85 degrees for seated overhead work — one bench covering what would otherwise take three.
  • 3 front seat positions. The seat adjusts independently of the back pad, which is what actually keeps a shorter lifter from sliding down the pad on a steep incline. Most benches at this price skip it.
  • Yellow-marked adjustment handles. Intenza color-codes every adjustment point in high-visibility yellow. Sounds cosmetic — it isn't. In a supervised setting, a trainer or spotter can find and change the setting without walking around the bench.

Built to Survive a Commercial Floor

  • Double-coating process on the frame delivers real corrosion and scratch resistance, not just paint.
  • Aluminum end caps protect the highest-wear contact points on the frame.
  • Front handle and dual wheel rollers. One person repositions it. In a studio that reconfigures the floor between class formats, this is the difference between a bench that gets moved and a bench that stays where it is.
  • Upholstery in Black or Saddle Brown — the Saddle Brown is a genuinely useful option when the design brief calls for warmth rather than another black-and-chrome weight room.
